JACKSONVILLE, Fa. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team bounced back with a sweep of North Alabama in the afternoon session after dropping a 4-1 decision to North Florida in the morning on the first day of the UNF Spring Beach Fling on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars fell to North Florida, 4-1, in their first match of the day with Ella Ridinger and Kyra Thompson capturing the lone point for CofC. Charleston then bounced back with a sweep of North Alabama in the afternoon to snap a six-match losing streak.

PAIR OF THE DAY
Ridinger and Thompson went 2-0 on the day highlighted by a 21-15, 21-11 win over North Alabama's third pairing. The duo started the day with a gritty 21-18, 21-18 victory against North Florida and now stands at 4-6 on the season.

Ella Reames and Maria Zweig posted a 1-1 record on the day to push their season mark to 8-2.
Jasmin Goei and Marie Martinsen picked up their first win of the spring with a hard-fought 21-15, 15-21, 19-17 win at four's against North Alabama.
