Sowell Paces Cougars After 36 Holes at The Schenkel

STATESBORO, Ga. – College of Charleston graduate senior Logan Sowell (Kershaw, S.C.) continues to pace the College of Charleston men's golf team at The Schenkel Invitational held at Forest Heights Country Club.
On Saturday playing through tough conditions on the par-72 course, Sowell carded a 2-over par 74 with three birdies. He is currently tied for 15th (-1) heading into the final day of tournament play.
On the team leaderboard, the Cougars are currently in sixth (+8). No. 21-ranked NC State holds a 14-stroke lead (-25) going into tomorrow's final round followed by No. 40 and host Georgia Southern in second (-11), Furman third (-9), Florida Golf Coast fourth (-4) and MTSU fifth (+6).
