ANNAPOLIS, Md. --- The College of Charleston sailing team placed second, fourth and seventh in the fleet race event on Saturday, and finished third and fourth in the team racing event on Saturday and Sunday against two teams from Navy and two teams from Tulane.
The Cougars' No. 1 team finished in second in the fleet race with senior
Jack Brown skippering A-Division to 31 points over five races alongside sophomore crew
Noelle Owen.
Paris Henken skippered B-Division to 37 points with freshman crew
Lucy Klempen.
Charleston's No. 2 team placed fourth with junior
Pierce Ornstein and senior
Hunter Skinner skippering A-Division to 55 points alongside sophomore crew
Anna Sherry and senior crew
Hannah Kinder. Senior skipper
Marian Williams and sophomore crew
Roxanne Snyder totaled 38 points in B-Division.

Peter Barron sailed for the Cougars in B-Division.
In Saturday and Sunday's team race event, the Cougars' No. 1 team finished third with a 6-4 record led by senior skippers Brown, Henken and Skinner. They were joined on the water by crews Kinder, Owen, Sherry, Klempen and junior
Jack Sutton. The Cougars' No. 2 team placed fourth with a 4-6 record and were led by skippers Ornstein, Hasson, Anker and junior
Jack Howard. Crewing for the No. 2 team were Barron, Snyder and Hudgins.
Charleston returns to the water next weekend with North Points #5 at The Citadel on Saturday, April 3 and the SAISA Women's Championships on Saturday in St. Petersburg, Fla.
