Cougars Enter Lander University Horse Show Doubleheader With Confidence

CHARLESTON, S.C. – After a season-opening win at Georgia Southern, the College of Charleston equestrian team enters the Lander University Horse Show doubleheader with confidence on Saturday, March 6, and Sunday, March 7 in Greenwood, S.C.

"We are looking forward to traveling to Lander University," CofC Head Coach Natasha V. McCarthy said. "The team is confident after our win at Georgia Southern, so we are eager to continue on with solid rides, and hopefully, we come home with a few more wins before our home show (on March 13)."

In their last show, Kate Coffey was reserve high-point rider after a blue-ribbon ride in Open Over Fences and second-place ride in Open Flat. Other class winners included Emma Avent in Intermediate Over Fences, Lindsey Johnson in Limit Flat and Cassidy Hyatt in Limit Flat.
