Charleston Finishes Seventh at Rose Bowl

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- The College of Charleston sailing team began the new year finishing seventh among a deep 21-team field at the 2022 Rose Bowl on the West Coast.
Charleston accumulated 109 points from seven rotations to finish three points behind sixth-place Cal Maritime. The Cougars placed sixth in B-Division with 45 points and eighth in A-Division with 59 points.
Sophomore skipper Axel Stordahl and junior crew Roxanne Snyder turned in a trio of third-place showings to highlight a 45-point effort in B-Division, while sophomores Max Anker and Kalea Woodard finished strong with four straight top-10's in A-Division.
The Cougars will open the 2022 spring season on February 12 and 13 when they host the Charleston SCOR Offshore Regatta at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex.
