- CofC honors a quartet of seniors on Saturday as the Cougars host league-leading Towson for the final home game of the season. Seniors John Meeks, Osinachi Smart, Dimitrius Underwood and Jordan Sechan will all be recognized with a pregame ceremony.
- After surpassing the 1,000 career point mark at UNCW, Meeks enters Saturday's Senior Day having reached double figures in 17 of 22 game appearances this season. Meeks is averaging 14.5 PPG. He is the seventh Cougar to score at that high of a rate since Charleston became a member of the CAA, joining an illustrious list that includes Zep Jasper, Brevin Galloway, Grant Riller, Canyon Barry, Joe Chealey and Jarrell Brantley. Meeks ranks fifth in the CAA in scoring this season.
- Senior Osinachi Smart has logged 106 career games and more than 1500 minutes of action and will finish his career with more than 450 rebounds, 300 points and four career double-doubles.
- Senior Dimitrius Underwood is CofC's leader in rebounds, assists and steals. His 55 steals lead CofC, rank 22nd nationally and 14th on Charleston's all-time single-season steals list. Underwood is coming off his first double-double as a Div. 1 player (14 points, 12 rebounds) vs. James Madison.
- Senior Jordan Sechan went from a walk-on to scholarship student-athlete this season, earning the scholarship with high character, leadership and selflessness.
- CofC enters Saturday's tilt with Towson winners of five of its last eight games. The Cougars fell in yet another close matchup with JMU last time out. CofC hasn't lost by double digits since Nov. 22. Charleston is 8-4 in games decided by four or fewer points this season.
- The Cougars outrebounded JMU by six and snagged 24 offensive rebounds, the most by CofC since 2010. CofC is now one of five teams that have racked up that many in a game against another Div. I opponent this season. Charleston ranks second nationally in offensive rebounding and seventh nationally in total rebounds per game. CofC hasn't been outrebounded a single time in CAA play.
- CofC has won seven straight homes in the all-time series with Towson. The Cougars are looking to avoid a season sweep at the hands of the Tigers for the first time since 2015. CofC has won eight of its last 10 meetings with Towson, including six straight before the loss in January of this season.
- CofC's last win gave Pat Kelsey his 200th career W. Only two active Division I coaches have coached fewer than 10 full seasons and already have 200 career wins: Pat Kelsey and Texas coach Chris Beard.
- Reyne Smith enters Saturday needing just six threes to break Andrew Goudelock's freshman 3-pointers record. Smith's 68 triples rank 15th all-time at CofC for a single season regardless of class.
- CofC's bench has outscored opponents' benches by 96 combined points over the last five games.
- Junior Brenden Tucker ranks ninth in the CAA with a team-best 40 percent clip from beyond the arc
