NEWARK, DEL. - Riding a two-game win streak and winners of six of its last night games, Charleston Basketball looks to continue its momentum when the Cougars face Drexel on Saturday. Playing in its third road game in five days, CofC takes on the Dragons at 4 p.m. ET on FloSports.

STORYLINES
- CofC earned its seventh true road win of the season and its fourth victory in the last five away games with triumphs over Northeastern, Delaware, William & Mary and Elon. CofC has at least six true road wins in every normal-length season since 2015-16. The seven road wins are the Cougars' most in a season since 2018-19.
- After shooting 58 percent of the field at Northeastern, CofC shot 57.6 percent and scored a CAA-play high 99 points in the win over Delaware. Four Cougars scored at least 14 points and all 10 Cougars who saw the floor found the scoring column as CofC hit 11 threes and made 80 percent of its foul shots. It marked the most points for CofC in a league game in regulation in more than 10 seasons.
- Charleston would be the No. 6 seed in the CAA Tournament if the regular season ended today. Against projected seeds 4-9, CofC is 8-1 this season entering Saturday's rematch with Drexel.
- Charleston improved to 14-8 all-time against Delaware. The Cougars have won six of the last seven meetings with the Blue Hens in Newark after the big win on Thursday night.
- Charleston is 16-7 all-time against Drexel. The Cougars have won six consecutive regular season games against the Dragons. CofC has won two in a row over Drexel in Philly.
- A 17th win on Saturday for Pat Kelsey and CofC would match the most the Cougars won in legendary coach John Kresse's first season at the helm in 1979-80.
- The Cougars' bench continues to wear out opponents, accounting for 30 of the 99 points against Delaware. CofC is +129 in bench points over the last eight games (a 5-3 stretch for the Cougars). CofC's freshmen five scored 56 combined points in the win, with three of the five coming off the pine. A freshman has scored in double figures in 24 games this season.
- Dimitrius Underwood secured his third double-double in the last four games and was just four assists away from back-to-back triple doubles. Underwood is just the 15th Cougar in the last decade with three double-doubles in the same season and he's done it all in the span of a week. Underwood needs seven rebounds to reach the 200-board mark this season. That would make him the first CofC player in 30 years to have 300 points, 200 rebounds, 100 assists and 60 steals in the same campaign.
- Freshmen Reyne Smith hit at least five threes in game for the seventh time. He is the second player in program history to have seven games with 6+ made 3s behind Andrew Goudelock's nine. Smith's 80 3s rank seventh all-time in a single season at CofC and first among freshmen in program history.
- Charleston now ranks third in the country in offensive rebounding with 13.93 per game.
- CofC leads the nation in pace with 73.9 possessions per 40 minutes. The high-flying Cougars have 40+ points in five of their last six halves of basketball.
