College of Charleston Set to Graduate 82 Student-Athletes at Commencement Ceremonies

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston will see 82 student-athletes receive their diplomas and graduate at the Spring 2022 commencement ceremonies. The graduation ceremonies include three at the Cistern spanning Friday and Saturday and one alternative ceremony for graduating student-athletes competing this weekend.
A total of 73 student-athletes are earning their degrees this spring with nine more set to finish in the summer. All of the graduating student-athletes were supported by the exemplary CofC Athletics' Student-Athlete Academic Services staff of Lizzy Lesley, Clarke Allen, Terry Brown and Sara Weddington.
"Our staff is beyond proud of the work and dedication these student-athletes have displayed to achieve a significant life milestone and graduate from The College," Lesley, the Director of Student-Athlete Academic Services, said. "This group battled immense adversity to get to this point and it's been an honor for our staff to work with them on the way to a college degree."
The vast majority of CofC's graduating student-athletes also benefited from scholarship funding provided by the Charleston Athletic Fund and its members. If you would like to become a member, please contact them by phone at (843)-953-8255.
