Charleston Athletic Fund Announces Staff Additions

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Athletic Fund is proud and excited to announce new staff additions in 2026.
"We are excited to enter the 2026 year with our new team in place. Matt, Kennedy, Camille, Brett and I are committed to building relationships with supporters of Charleston Athletics and adding to the existing hospitality experience that Cougar fans already enjoy," said Executive Director of the Charleston Athletic Fund Dex Blank. "With the help of Cougar Nation, we can continue to elevate the experience for our student-athletes and coaches."
The mission of the Charleston Athletic Fund (CAF) is to provide the resources necessary for the overall success of College of Charleston Athletics and our student-athletes. The CAF allows for Charleston supporters, fans, alumni, and friends of The College to join forces with our coaches and student-athletes for the advancement of our programs. These efforts are to help ensure that our student-athletes can pursue success at the highest level on the field, in the classroom, and within the community during their time in Charleston and beyond. Dex Blank
Senior Associate AD for Development / Executive Director of the Charleston Athletic Fund
As the Executive Director of the Charleston Athletic Fund, Blank leads all aspects of fundraising for Charleston Athletics and manages the CAF team. The Charleston Athletic Fund supports all 19 varsity sports for the College of Charleston by raising funds to support student-athlete scholarships, STARR Fund dollars to support student-athlete revenue share opportunities, operational dollars for all athletics programs and the College of Charleston athletics department. Blank joined the team in September 2025.
Matt Creeron
Assistant AD for Development
As Assistant AD for Development, Creeron serves in a leadership role within the Charleston Athletic Fund. He returned to CAF team in January 2026 after having previously served on the team from 2018 – 2021. In his new role, Creeron will oversee the annual giving program for the Charleston Athletic Fund and represent the CAF on the athletics external leadership team. Additionally, he will carry a major gift portfolio and serve as the CAF sport liaison for the Cougar soccer and sailing programs and will assist with the women's basketball and baseball programs.
Kennedy Leporati Oliveira
Director of Finance
Joining CAF in December of 2025, Leporati Oliveira serves as the Director of Finance for the Charleston Athletic Fund. In her roll, Leporati Oliveira manages all financial reporting, budgeting and gift processing for CAF. Additionally, she will serve as a resource to assist Charleston coaches with expenses and reporting of their team excellence accounts to supplement their program budgets.
Camille McGrady
Assistant Director of Communications & Events
As the Assistant Director of Communications & Events, McGrady manages the email marketing for the CAF, leads operations for our annual fundraising and stewardship events, serves as the liaison for communication with the CAF Board of Directors, and leads hospitality efforts for Charleston men's basketball. McGrady joined the team in July of 2025. She serves as the CAF sport liaison for the cheer and dance programs and assists with golf, tennis, and cross country.
Brett Farrar
Assistant Director of Development
Farrar joined CAF as the Assistant Director of Development in January 2025. In his role, Farrar assists with all CAF annual giving operations, manages the fulfillment of CAF Annual Fund benefits, and manages the CAF student intern program. Additionally, Farrar carries the portfolio of lead annual gift prospects, and serves as the CAF sport liaison for the Cougar volleyball, softball, equestrian, beach volleyball, cross country and track & field programs.
