
No. 18 Cougars Return Home to Face Hofstra on Saturday Presented by Chick-fil-A

CHARLESTON, S.C. - After a week off from CAA competition, the No. 18 College of Charleston men's basketball team will return home to face Hofstra on Saturday, Janaury 28. Action is set for 4:00 p.m. in TD Arena.

STORYLINES
- Charleston remains at No. 18 in this week's AP Poll. This is the Cougars' fourth straight week in the poll and the highest ranking since being No. 16 in the March 1, 1999 AP Poll. CofC's current longest streak in the AP Poll is six weeks during the 1998-1999 season.
- The Cougars currently rank 76 in KenPom, 43 in the NET rankings published by the NCAA, and are second in the CollegeInsider.com MidMajor Top 25 with seven first place votes.
- Charleston holds three Q2 wins (Kent State, Virginia Tech, UNCW) and their 21 wins, .955 winning percentage, and 20-game winning streak lead the nation.
- This will be the 18 all-time meeting between Charleston and Hofstra with the Pride holding a slight 8-9 edge. CofC won the last meeting between the programs, a 92-76 win in Hempstead. Raekwon Horton had 13 points in the contest followed by Reyne Smith with 11.
- Dalton Bolon leads the Cougars with 13.2 points per game followed by Smith with 11.4
- Hofstra's Aaron Estrada and Amar'e Marshall have each won multiple CAA awards so far this season, with Estrada claiming two Player of the Week honors and Marshall earning four Rookie of the Week honors.
- Estrada scored 26 of his career-high 40 points in the second half to power Hofstra to a road victory. The defending CAA Player of the Year went 16-for-25 and 8-for-15 from three to lift the Pride from a second-half deficit to a double-digit win. Hofstra (14-8, 7-2) made 16 threes as a team and was 11-for-18 from distance in the second half.
- Fans attending Saturday's contest will have either a maroon or white shirt placed on their seat upon their arrival to TD Arena. We ask that all fans support the Cougars and wear their shirt with pride!
- CofC is also proud to introduce a new light show, synced with the Cougar's starting lineup introductions. Fans should plan to download the CUE Live app to their mobile devices. QR codes will also be accessible in TD Arena to join the fun. The CUE Live app will only work on mobile devices.

GAMEDAY REMINDERS
- Saturday's contest is officially sold out. Doors will open 1.5 hours prior to tipoff.
- Concession stands will open when doors open, and the Cougar Spirit Shop will open one hour prior to tipoff. There will also be cash only satellite beer and water areas around the concourse.
- The TD Arena Box Office is open Monday – Friday beginning at 9AM and opens 3 hours prior to tipoff for Saturday & Sunday games.
- If you selected mobile tickets, add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay App prior to arriving at TD Arena for the smoothest entry experience.
