Tickle Paces Cougars After Opening Round at Daniel Island

DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. - Jack Tickle had a strong showing on day one of the Daniel Island Intercollegiate to pace the Cougars entering round two.

Tickle currently sits in T4 at 3-under. The junior posted five birdies on the back nine, including three straight on holes 13,14, and 15.

Charleston stis in fifth with a 286 round, just three strokes out of the lead after a tight opening round of play. The Cougars also lead the field in par 3 scoring (2.90, -2).

In his first career start in the lineup, rookie Waymon Thomas enters the second round at T13 followed by Kieron van Wyk and Loran Appel at T34.
