CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's basketball program welcomes Saint Joseph's to TD Arena on Thursday. Action is set for 7:00 p.m.

STORYLINES

Charleston will take on its third A10 opponent of the season when the Saint Joseph's Hawks come to town on December 21. The Cougars fell to Duquesne and defeated Rhode Island earlier this season.
The teams have one common opponent in the Iona Gaels. Charleston opened the season on Nov. 6 with a thrilling 71-69 victory over the Gaels while the Hawks are entering the contest with the Cougars just having defeated the Gaels 83-58 on Dec. 16.
James Scott is the current CAA Rookie of the Week and has not missed a field goal attempt since Dec. 2. He had a team-high 16 points with five rebounds and three blocks in the Cougars win over Coastal Carolina on Dec. 18. He was featured this week on Sports Center Top 10 on Dec. 19 at No. 5 after a block that led to a dunk on the other end.
The Cougars currently rank fourth in the nation in three point attempts per game (30.6). Reyne Smith leads the charge for Charleston and currently sits at fifth in all-time career threes made at Charleston (210). Six more would move him into fourth.
Bryce Butler needs just three points vs. the Hawks to reach 2,000 career points.
The Hawks rank fifth in the country in three-pointers per game (11.1) and seventh in three-point attempts (30.0).
Erik Reynolds II paces the Hawks with 17.5 point per game followed by Xzayvier Brown with 11.6. Reynolds was recently named Big 5 Men's Basketball Player of the Week and Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week.
