
Cougar Travel to Philadelphia to Take On Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The College of Charleston men's basketball team will look to start a new winning streak on Thursday when the Cougars visit Philadelphia to take on Drexel. Action is set for 7:00 p.m.

- Charleston is coming off of just their second loss of the season Saturday, an 85-81 defeat vs. Hofstra. The Cougars are still receiving votes in the latest AP Poll and are two spots out of the top 25.
- The Cougars spent four weeks in the AP Poll, peaking for two consecutive weeks at No. 18. The longest the Cougars have been featured in consecutive polls was six weeks during the 1998-99 season.
- Pat Kelsey's program is currently ranked 61 in the NET rankings published by the NCAA. The loss to the Pride will count as a Quad 3 loss. The Cougars loss to then #1 North Carolina is a Quad 1 loss.
- Charleston leads the CAA in scoring offense (80.1 ppg) and combined team rebounds (40.4). The Cougars outrebounded Hofstra 41-36 on Saturday and rank third in the country in offensive rebounds per game (14.09) and sixth in total rebounds (40.43).
- Dalton Bolon leads the Cougars with 13.0 ppg followed by Reyne Smith with 11.4 ppg and Ante Brzovic with 11.0 ppg. All three rank in top 25 scorers in the CAA.
- Drexel is coming off two straight losses, most recently to Elon on Saturday. Amari Williams had a career-high 23 points in the 72-58 loss followed by Justin Moore with 13.
- Williams leads the Dragons with 14.0 points per game followed by Coletrane Washington with 10.1. Williams also paces the program in rebounds with 6.2 per game.
