
Men's Basketball Hosts Northeastern on Monday

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Riding a three-game win streak, the College of Charleston men's basketball team welcomes Northeastern to TD Arena on Monday night for the second meeting between the programs this season. Action is set for 7:00 p.m. at TD Arena.

STORYLINES
- The Cougars and Huskies will face for the second time this season with Charleston winning the first meeting in Boston 87-61. Since playing Charleston on January 21, the Huskies have lost six straight contests.
- Charleston is coming off a 83-70 win at Hampton on Saturday. The Cougars were down by as much as 15 points in the first before storming back to take a 15 point edge after the half. Pat Robinson III had a breakout performance with 30 points. His previous season high was also vs. Hampton with 19 points in the December 29 meeting between the programs.
- Pat Kelsey's program is currently in a tie for first place in the CAA with Hofstra. Hofstra holds the tie breaker with the head-to-head 85-81 head-to-head victory over the Cougars on January 28.
- Charleston is 58 in the NCAA NET rankings, climbing a one spot after the Hampton victory. The program spent four weeks in the AP Top 25 reaching as high as No. 18 in the poll.
- Ben Burnham led Charleston in Boston a month ago with 15 points followed by Robinson III with 14. Robinson III also grabbed six rebounds while Babacar Faye had a team-best eight.
- Chris Doherty had a double-double for the Huskies on January 21 with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Jared Turner matched his 11 points.
- Northeastern is coming off a 71-59 loss at UNCW on Saturday. Jahmyl Telfort paced the Huskies with 18 points followed by Joe Pridgen with 14 and Coleman Stucke with 10.
- Telfort leads Northeastern and ranks sixth in the CAA in points per game (16.2) while Doherty controls the glass for the Huskies and ranks tenth in the league in rebounds per game (5.9)
- Fans are encouraged to wear pink and celebrate Valentines Day a day early with "I Love Our City Night."
- T-shirts purchased in advance from the "I Love Our City Night" ticket package can be picked up on the concourse.
- Monday's contest is officially sold out. Doors will open 1.5 hours prior to tipoff.
- Concession stands will open when doors open, and the Cougar Spirit Shop will open one hour prior to tipoff. There will also be cash only satellite beer and water areas around the concourse.
- The TD Arena Box Office is open Monday – Friday beginning at 9AM and opens 3 hours prior to tipoff for Saturday & Sunday games.
- If you selected mobile tickets, add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay App prior to arriving at TD Arena for the smoothest entry experience.
