Charleston Women’s Sailing to Compete for ICSA Title

STANFORD, Calif. – College of Charleston women's sailing heads to the West Coast as they compete for the ICSA Women's National Team Race Championship looking for their fourth Women's National Title in program history and second in the last three seasons.
Charleston qualified for the 2023 National Title race after taking the SAISA Team Race title on home waters posting a 10-1 record including a perfect 7-0 mark down the stretch to edge out USF.
Charleston will be competing against a field of 12 teams split into two groups of six – Stanford, Brown, Boston College, Harvard and Penn being in the Cougars' grouping.
In the Prelim Round, Charleston is set to sail head-to-head against all 12 regattas – Boston College, Stanford, Penn, Brown, Harvard, MIT, Cornell, Dartmouth, Michigan, Yale and Tulane. From there, the Top-6 advance then a Top-4 to decide the National Champion.
The action starts Saturday at 12:30 p.m. EST (9:30 a.m. local) with Sunday's set for a 12:30 p.m. EST (9:30 a.m. local) as well. For live scoring, head to CollegeSailing.org.
