CONWAY, S.C. – College of Charleston beach volleyball seniors Gabi Bailey and Kyra Thompson set the all-time wins record for a duo in program history picking up two wins and leading the Cougars to a 2-0 day.

Charleston took down rival Coastal Carolina in 4-1 dominant fashion then swept away Erskine 5-0 to push the win streak to nine.

How It Happened

Charleston split the first two points with Coastal Carolina but wouldn't let the Chanticleers capture any momentum from there.
Wins on the top four flights in two sets put a stamp on the Charleston victory and give the Cougars two-straight wins over their rivals.
The Cougars made quick work of Erskine to finish the day strong and move the win streak to nine.
