67 Student-Athletes Graduate as Department Sets New Academic Records

The College of Charleston athletic department is proud to celebrate 67 student-athletes who earned degrees May 12-13.
Of the 67 student-athletes, nine earned graduate degrees while 57 graduated with a grade point average of 3.0 of higher. 31 earned Latin honors with nine graduates from the Honors College. Two student-athletes graduated with top honors.
Additionally, the department set a new record term grade point average of 3.383, surpassing the record set last term of 3.355. This is the seventh straight semester that Cougar student-athletes have collectively posted at least a 3.20 grade point average. 65% of student-athletes earned a 3.200 or higher while 74% of student-athletes earned a 3.000 or higher. A whopping 37 Cougars had a 4.00.
