CHARLESTON, S.C. - Ben Burnham opened the game with a lob slam dunk from by
CJ Fulton to bookend an explosive evening at TD Arena as the College of Charleston men's basketball team defeated Elon 80-62.

The Phoenix then went on a 6-0 run to start the game while holding the Cougars to a nearly three-minute scoring drought from the field while capitalizing on five early turnovers from Charleston. Burnham and
Khalil London drained back-to-back threes to slowly retake the lead at 23-19.

Kobe Rodgers went on a personal 5-0 run after the Phoenix tied the game back up at 25-25. The Cougars went 6-6 from the field to finish the half, highlighted by a three-point play from
Ante Brzovic to enter the locker room up 41-34.

The Cougars held Elon scoreless for the first three minutes of the half while pushing to a 12-point lead.

Fulton hit back-to-back treys to push the Cougars to their largest lead of the night at 60-46. Charleston continued to push offensively, ending with a 5-6 stretch from the field to seal the victory.
