BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Charleston faces off against Campbell for the first time as members of the CAA on Saturday in Buies Creek. Action is set fro 2:00 p.m.

STORYLINES

The Cougars hold a 13-2 all-time series edge. The teams have not met since December 22, 2005 and the Camels have not won a contest in the match-up since January 21, 1991.
The Cougars are coming off a 107-86 win over Hampton. The point total is the most scored by the Cougars in the Kelsey era and is just the second time the Cougars have scored over 100 points under Kelsey (vs. S.C. State, 11/11/21). Additionally, 107 points is the most points in a conference game in regulation since W&M (vs Drexel, 1/30/17) and UNCW (vs Delaware, 2/4/17) both hit 108 a week apart. Ante Brzovic (31), Reyne Smith (15), Khalil London (14) and Bryce Butler (14) all finished in double-figures scoring.
Junior Reyne Smith will be a Cougar to watch over the next few contests as he approaches 1,000 career points. He sits at 984 entering Saturday. Smith set the Charleston single game three record with nine makes earlier this season vs. St. Joseph's. He is third all-time in career triples made in school history (231). The current roster features three 1,000 point scorers (Brzovic, Butler, Policelli).
Charleston ranks ninth in the nation in bench points per game (33.74), third in three-point attempts per game (31.2) and 19th in total rebounds per game (40.84). Individually, CJ Fulton ranks seventh in the country in assist/turnover ratio (3.90).
Ante Brzovic leads the Cougars with 13.4 points per game followed by Ben Burnham with 12.2 and Reyne Smith with 11.1 Brzovic posted 31 points, his most in a Cougar uniform, and 12 rebounds at Campbell for this fifth double-double of the season. He also leads the team with 7.0 rebounds per game.
