Rubin and Muschlitz Qualify for IHSA Regionals

GREENWOOD, S.C. – Sophomores Ella Muschlitz and Lainie Rubin qualified for regionals in their respective disciplines as College of Charleston equestrian's IHSA team competed at Lander.
Rubin qualified in the intermediate fences and flat while Muschlitz qualified in novice. Rubin also earned high point rider after the first day with the team collecting 45 points. In the second day, the Cougars claimed 28 points.
"IHSA had a very strong start to the season," said head coach Natasha Vitkovic. "This talented team looks forward to improving upon their consistency into the spring season ahead."
Charleston's IHSA squad kicks off the 2025 slate at Georgia Southern Feb. 1 and 2.
