#2 Equestrian Loses Pair of Meets

DARTMOUTH, N.H. – No. 2 College of Charleston equestrian lost to No. 3 Dartmouth and Sacred Heart Nov. 2 and 3 in its final meets of the fall season.
The Cougars dropped the opening meet of the weekend in New Hampshire by a score of 6-4. Hailey Pendl was named Most Outstanding Performer on the flat with a score of 89.
On Saturday, CofC lost at Sacred Heart, 5-3. Kathryn McCarthy earned MOP on the flat, earning a score of 79.
"The team rose extremely well today at Sacred Heart and pushed the pressure being tied at the half," said head coach Natasha Vitkovic. "Flat scores came in rather close, and we just fell short again. Nevertheless, I have to say this team is showing real strength and growth out on the road and now we can't wait to ride and host on our home turf in the spring season."
The IHSA squad returns to action for the final time in the fall with a show against Lander Nov. 8-10 in Greenwood, S.C.
