
Offshore Wins Kennedy Cup

ANNAPOLIS, MD. – College of Charleston's offshore team won the Kennedy Cup this weekend, narrowly defeating host Navy.
The Cougars totaled 23 points for win. Phoenix Bliss, George Helme, Sims Whalen, Gwen Nechas, Luke Tougas, Bo Dwyer, John McCarthy, Robert Silcox, John Polek and Jonathan Weed represented CofC.
Navy (24 points) and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (31 points) rounded out the top three in the regatta.
CofC will compete in the ICSA Open and Women's Singlehanded Nationals Nov. 1-3 in Tampa, Fla.
