Equestrian Holds Match for Excellence Fundraiser

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston equestrian team will be hosting a fundraiser at the White Horses stables Feb. 17 in support of the Charleston Athletic Fund.
The Equestrian Excellence Match will take place during the IHSA competition to benefit the growth of the program's excellence fund.
"I am looking forward to this weekend's IHSA double header horse show, which is being held right here at team facility, White Horses LLC. In addition to the horse show and our senior events, we are hosting a team fundraiser for our team's excellence fund with the Charleston Athletic Fund," said head coach Natasha McCarthy. "With the support of our parents, Charleston alumni, equestrian enthusiasts, we can make a huge difference in our team's athletic experience. The raised funds will help with equipment needs, horse care, additional travel, and facility improvements for our future events."
Donors will receive a t-shirt with a $50 donation, a personalized plaque and t-shirt for a $500 donation and one donation of $1,000 will receive a bench along with a plaque and two t-shirts.
There will be a giving table as well as a raffle available for attendees to participate in at the show. Online donations will also be accepted.
