CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's basketball team hosts North Carolina A&T on Thursday night in a nationally televised contest on CBS Sports Network. Action is set for 8:00 p.m.

STORYLINES

This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the programs with Charleston holding a 2-1 series edge. Charleston won the only meeting a season ago, a 92-79 victory that also aired on CBS Sports Network. Prior to last season's contest, the programs had not met since 1993.
Charleston is coming off a thrilling 84-83 victory at William & Mary on Saturday afternoon. The win marked Charleston's second all-time win in Williamsburg. The first was Kelsey's first visit as head coach on February 3, 2022. All 11 Cougars that saw action in Saturday's contest scored. ? Charleston trailed at the half vs. the Tribe for just the fourth time this season, ultimately winning three of the four contests. Ben Burnham led the Cougars with 20 points and seven rebounds.
The Cougars can be seen in several national statistics, including seventh in the nation in bench points per game (34.13), third in three-point attempts per game (31.4), 14th in threes made per game (10.1) and 19th in total rebounds per game (40.35). Individually, CJ Fulton ranks fourth in assist/turnover ratio (4.13) and Reyne Smith ranks 12th in total three-point attempts (185).
Smith has recorded 247 career three-pointers at Charleston, third most in school history, and needs seven three pointers to pass Tony White Jr. for second most.
Ante Brzovic leads the Cougars with 12.7 points per game followed closely by Burnham with 12.6. Brzovic paces the team on the glass with 6.3 rebounds per game.
