
Equestrian Set for NCEA Weekend in Virginia

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston NCEA team will travel to central Virginia this weekend to compete at the University of Lynchburg. The Cougars will take on Lynchburg Friday before facing Bridgewater College on Saturday.
"We are excited to finally be in Virginia for our first NCEA single discipline match up against Lynchburg and Bridgewater," said head coach Natasha McCarthy. "Our roster has been working hard and are super eager to get into this mix and gain as much experience as possible this year."
Charleston competed in their first NCEA competition in November at South Carolina. The Gamecocks won the meet 6-2. Caroline Berg earned a point by winning her match on the flat, while Lily Toensing grabbed the other point for Charleston in fences.
