
Men's Golf in Fourth at General Hackler Championship

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's golf team played an even par round on the opening day of the General Hackler Championship hosted by Coastal Carolina.
The Cougars, who sit at T4 (288, E), are just two strokes behind the leaders Louisville and Chattanooga.
Zach Reuland paces the Cougars at T6 (-2) with five birdies in the opening round, the third most among all competitors. Kieron van Wyk joins Reuland in the top 20 at T13 (E). van Wyk recorded four birdies on the day. Rookie Waymon Thomas (+1) was one of seven golfers to record an eagle on the day.
Action resumes tomorrow at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club.
