
111 Cougars Participate in 2024 Commencement

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston athletic department is proud to celebrate 11 student-athletes who earned degrees May 10-11.
Of the 111 student-athletes, 21 earned graduate degrees while 94 graduated with a grade point average of 3.0 of higher. 31 earned Latin honors with ten graduates from the Honors College.
Additionally, the department set a new record term grade point average of 3.436, surpassing the record set last term of 3.383. This is the ninth straight semester that Cougar student-athletes have collectively posted at least a 3.20 grade point average. 73% of student-athletes earned a 3.200 or higher while 85% of student-athletes earned a 3.000 or higher. A whopping 47 Cougars had a 4.00.
