
Equestrian Reveals IHSA and NCEA Schedules

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston equestrian team has revealed its 2024-25 NCEA and IHSA schedules announced by head coach Natasha Vitkovic on Monday.
"We are all extremely excited and looking forward to a jam packed 2024-25 season ahead. Regular season for both IHSA and NCEA rosters includes eight competitions each," said Vitkovic. "Additionally, we are preparing to host in March 2025, the D1 NCEA single discipline ECAC Conference Championships. So many exciting things ahead for Charleston Equestrian!"
Kathryn McCarthy, Claire Lane, Grace Roberts, and Vada Hobson finished the 2023-24 season by representing the Cougars at the IHSA Zone Championships.
McCarthy's squad will open the IHSA season in Aiken against South Carolina and Wofford (Sept. 27-28) before traveling to Lander University (Nov. 8-10).
The IHSA team will resume competition in the new year at Georgia Southern (Feb. 1-2) before hosting a home show at White Horses, LLC (Feb. 15-16) in preparation for the IHSA Zone 5 Region 3 Championships (Mar. 1)

For the first time in program history, the Cougars will host the NCEA Single Discipline ECAC Conference Championship. This will be Charleston's second season as a member of the NCEA.
The Cougars will host Dartmouth, Sacred Heart, and Centenary in NCEA competition. They will also face all three schools on the road along with trips to Lynchburg and Sweet Briar.
Lily Toensing highlighted the 2023-24 NCEA season will All-American honors on the fences.
