CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston sailing raced to a trio of top 10 finishes this weekend.
The Cougars placed sixth in the Open ACC Championship and Yale Women's Regatta while the offshore team took fourth in the McMillan Cup.
In the Open ACC Finals, Charleston's boats earned 107 and 102 points respectively for 209 total points. Harvard won the race with 135 while Stanford (152) and Tulane (178) rounded out the top three.
In New Haven, Conn., CofC's A boat collected 89 points while the B boat had 55 for 144 total points. Yale won the race with 99 points followed by Darmouth and Stanford, who each had 116 points.
Offshore sailing placed fourth out of nine schools at the McMillan Cup in Annapolis.
Charleston is set to race in the SAISA Fall Women's and Open Fleet Race Champs this weekend.
