
Men's Basketball Concludes Road Trip at Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The College of Charleston men's basketball team travels to Philadelphia on Saturday, February 22 to take on Drexel for the first and only meeting this season between the programs. Action is set for 12:00 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

STORYLINES
- The Cougars, 21-7 overall and 11-4 in the CAA, hold the 17-9 all-time series edge over the Dragons, but have not won at Daskalakis Athletic Center since 2019.
- Charleston is coming off a 73-62 win over Northeastern on Thursday night in Boston. Four Cougars scored in double-figures led by Ante Brzovic with 20, his 13th time crossing the threshold this season. Deywilk Tavarez recorded his first career double-double vs. the Huskies with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
- The Cougars recorded a season-high seven blocks at Northeastern, led by Lazar Djokovic with four.
- With a win over the Dragons, Charleston head coach Chris Mack will record his 300th career victory. He totaled 215 wins at Xavier and 63 at Louisville before taking over the Cougars' sideline this season.
- Charleston's 21 wins are the fourth most wins in the country with only 12 programs totaling more victories. The program has achieved 32 total 20-plus win seasons since 1975.
- Brzovic currently ranks fifth in the nation in total made field goals (203) and 14th in defensive rebounds per game (6.79).
- Point guard CJ Fulton has led the nation in assist/turnover ratio since Jan. 11 and currently ranks ninth in total assists (175) and 11th in assists/game (6.5).
- Tavarez sits at 11th in nation in three-point percentage (44.4). The sophomore went 3-7 vs. Northeastern on Thursday night.
- Drexel enters Saturday's contest 14-14 overall and 6-9 in CAA play. The Dragons defeated Delaware 78-74 on Thursday night in Newark.
- Yame Butler leads with Dragons with 13.9 points per game followed closely by Kobe MaGee with 13.8. Cole Hargrove controls the glass, grabbing 7.5 rebounds per game.
- The Dragons ranks third in the league in both field goal percentage (45.7) and opponent field goal percentage (41.6).
