Men's Golf Continues Spring Play in Puerto Rico

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The No. 36 College of Charleston men's golf team returns to the Puerto Rico Classic February 10-12. The Cougars are coming off a second place finish at the Battle at Briar's Creek to open their 2025 spring slate. Charleston finished 13-under, six strokes behind winners NC State and were led by Miles Eubanks' 5-under (T6) performance.
The Cougars will join #1 Ole Miss, Marquette, Georgia, Iowa, Ohio State, Minnesota,Wisconsin, North Florida, Tennessee, #4 Oklahoma, #7 LSU, #18 South Carolina, Purdue, and #8 Virginia in the field.
The team played in the Puerto Rico Classic last season, finishing 11-under for 14th place. Loran Appel (-4) was to only returning Cougar to finish under par. Appel tied for the top par 4 scoring and sank 14 birdies during the tournament with a collegiate low round of 67.
