
Cougars Place Third in St. Mary’s Women’s Race

MARYLAND – College of Charleston sailing finished third in the St. Mary's Women's Fleet Race and sixth in the Graham Hall Open Team Race in windy weekend in Maryland.
On the St. Mary's River, the Cougars boats earned 84 and 55 points for a total of 139. Georgetown won the regatta with 58 total points while Tulane came in second with 101.
In Annapolis, CofC and Brown both finished with a 10-5 record, but the Bears held the tie breaker for fifth place. Host Navy won the race followed by Georgetown and Harvard, rounding out the top three.
Charleston is action in action March 22-23 at the Friis Open Team Race in New London, Conn. And the Duplin Women's Team Race in Cambridge, Mass.
