DUE WEST, S.C. -  The College of Charleston beach volleyball team split a midweek doubleheader with Erskine and Emmanuel on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cougars defeated Erskine 5-0 before falling to Emmanuel 3-2. This was Charleston's second sweep of Erskine this season. 

The 4s pair of Sophie Sageer and Cassie Thayse along with the 5s pair of Allie Holland and Grace Toscano earned the dual wins over Emmanuel. It was Sageer's first appearance and win in a countable dual. 

Charleston returns to action March 28 and 29 at the Sun Belt Midseason Seeding Tournament in Foley, Alabama.
