CONWAY, S.C. -  The College of Charleston beach volleyball team defeated Lynchburg 5-0 in the Chanticleer Challenge over the weekend. Charleston finished the weekend with a 1-3 overall record.

The Cougars did not drop a set during against the Hornets.

Charleston sent duals to three sets against UAB at the 1s, the 3s and 5s against UNCW, and at the 4s against Coastal Carolina.

The Cougars return to action next Friday, April 11 at "The Yard" for the program's lone home date of the season.
