CHARLESTON, S.C.- College of Charleston women's soccer head coach Christian Michner has announced the 2025 schedule, including nine home matches and eight road contests.
The Cougars will kick off their fall campaign hosting South Carolina on August 14 at 7:00 p.m.
"Opening night at Patriots Point will be electric as we host in-state powerhouse South Carolina," says Coach Michner. "We've had some great games with them over the years and it'll be awesome to play them in front of our fans."
Charleston will begin a road stint at High Point (Aug. 24) before traveling west to face off against Houston Christian (Aug. 28) and Texas (Aug. 31).
"We certainly didn't shy away from scheduling some of the top teams in the country and know that this group of players is ready to compete with the best," says Michner. "Playing at SEC champion Texas and also hosting NCAA finalist Wake Forest will really let us know how good we are."
The Cougars will wrap up nonconference play in September with four-straight home contests, beginning with national runner-up Wake Forest (Sept.4) followed by North Florida (Sept.7), Gardner-Webb (Sept.11) and Presbyterian (Sept.14).
CofC begins conference play on the road, traveling to New Jersey to face Monmouth on September 18 followed by Northeastern on September 21 and UNCW on September 28.
"Our non-conference schedule should have us prepared for the rigors of what the CAA brings each year," Michner says. "I think we have a team that can make a deep run in the tournament."
Charleston will return home on October 2 to face Hampton, followed by a road match at William & Mary on October 5.
The Cougars will wrap up conference play at home with three consecutive matches at Patriots Point, hosting Campbell (Oct. 12), Stony Brook (Oct.16) and Hofstra (Oct. 19).
CofC will play their final game of the regular season at Elon on October 26.
All home games will be played at Patriots Point Soccer Stadium and are free admission.
