
Cougars Win Four Regattas

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston sailing won four regattas over the weekend in a busy slate of racing.
CofC kicked off the weekend by claiming the top spot in the SAISA Top 6 North Invite. The Cougars also won the SAISA Open Singlehanded Champs, The Ashley River Trophy and the offshore team earned The Shields Trophy victory.
At the Open Singlehanded Champs, senior Benjamin Dufour won the regatta with sophomore Tommy Kraak and Will Rucker rounding out the top three. Charleston placed third, fourth, fifth and sixth at the SAISA Women's Singlehanded Champs.
Charleston competes in two regattas in Florida, racing in the J70 SAISA Match Race Championships in Tampa and the SAISA Women's Top 9 in Winter Park.
