COLUMBIA, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's golf team sits in fourth place (-4) after the opening round of the Bryan Bros Collegiate in Columbia, S.C. The Cougars enter the final round two strokes behind third place Clemson and one stroke ahead of fifth place Duke.

Nevill Ruiter, and
Miles Eubanks all played 2-under, 69 rounds to end the day at T12. Eubanks ranked second in the field in total birdies with six while Bredenkamp leads the entire field in par 4 scoring (3.67, -3). Ruiter played a bogey-free front nine, recording his only bogey of the round on hole 12.
The Cougars rank fifth in total birdies (18) and second in total pars (58). Every Cougar in the lineup recorded at least two birdies on the day.
Charleston returns to action tomorrow for the final two rounds from Solina Golf Club.
