KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Miles Eubanks led the Cougars with a T10 (-2) finish at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate to open the 2025-26 season. The Cougars finished in tenth place as a team (+19), topping two Power 5 programs. Charleston matched their tenth place finish at the tournament from a year ago.

Eubanks posted the top round for the Cougars with a 66 final round, tied for the lowest final round among all competitors. He totaled five birdies in the round including four on the back nine. 

Nevill Ruiter was the next top finisher for the Cougars at T22. He played two rounds under par on Friday (68) and Saturday (69).

The tournament marked the Cougar debuts from Johan Bredenkamp (+7) and William Brun Solum (+19).

Charleston returns to action on Monday, September 15 for the Invitational at the Honors Course hosted by Chattanooga.
