Track and Field Competes in Tryon Mid-Winter Invite

MILL SPRING, N.C. – The College of Charleston track and field team travels to the Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational to compete Friday, February 13 and Saturday February 14.
Last weekend at the Camel City Sprints & Distance meet, Emma Townsend posted the second-best time in program history in the 60m dash and the 200m dash with respective times of 7.81 and 25.00. Freshman, Trinity Jones broke her personal record in the 200m dash by running a 25.10.
For field events, Tatum Frith jumped 5.58m in the long jump to set a new third-best length in Charleston history. Elaine Zhai matched her best pole vault attempt at 3.60m.
