Volleyball Welcomes Sarajarvi to Fall Roster

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston volleyball head coach Jason Kepner has announced the signing of Laura Sarajarvi to the 2026 roster.
Laura Sarajarvi – Outside Hitter – Tampere, Finland
Laura Sarajarvi joins Charleston in the fall after competing with the Finnish U20 squad where she earned a silver medal in 2025. Sarajarvi began her prep career at Oriveden Lukio where she won a silver medal in the high school volleyball tournament in 2024.
"I am really excited about the addition of Laura to our roster for the fall," said Kepner. "She is a very experienced player who can attack from anywhere on the net. She is a 6'3" skilled athlete who can swing high with a lot of power. I am looking forward to coaching her and getting her in our gym. The more we talked, the more excited I got about her. She is a great person, who is very motivated and will fit into our culture and gym right away."
