
Track and Field Compete in Camel City Sprints & Distance Friday and Saturday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The College of Charleston track and field program will compete in their first meet of 2026 and their second meet of the season February 6-7 at Camel City Sprints & Distance in Winston-Salem, N.C.
17 Cougars will compete Friday across six events while 18 Cougars will compete Saturday in six events.
Charleston is set to begin field events Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Gabby David, Tatum Frith, and Abby Fush competing in long jump. Gabby Brailsford, Riley Fisher, and Emma Townsend kick off track events at 1:35 p.m. with the 60m dash.
The freshmen trio of Trinity Jones, Gabby Brailsford, and Tori-Ann Anderson all entered the record book at the first meet of the season. Jones ran times in the 200m dash and the 400m dash to mark third all-time in the Charleston record book. Brailsford places fourth in the record book in the 60m dash. Lastly, Anderson jumped 1.70m to mark a new program third best.
