DELAND, Fla. - The College of Charleston beach volleyball team earned their first win of the season with a 4-1 victory against Eckerd to close out the Stetson Spring Fling.
The 3s pair of Ella Duffner and Alivia Newberg earned the only sweep of the afternoon, while the Cougars pulled out impressive three set wins at the 1s, 4s and 5s.
Charleston dropped their opening match of the day 4-1 to Jacksonville. The 3s pair of Sophie Sageer and Madison Loving earned the lone dual victory.
