
#3 Cougars Take Down #1 Lynchburg and Centenary

CHARLESTON, S.C. – No. 3 College of Charleston equestrian defeated its second No. 1 team of the spring, beating Lynchburg, 7-3, and Centenary, 7-3.
With the wins, CofC improves to 6-3 on the campaign.
Against Lynchburg, the Cougars went into the break up 3-2 as Camilla Murray, Maddi Cardelli and Olivia Welsh each scored points. CofC continued to dominate in the flat, taking four out of a possible five points, taking down another No. 1 ranked opponent.
On Saturday, Charleston went up 3-2 in fences as Olivia Lonneman, Maddi Cardelli and Samantha Aisenberg took the first three points of the meet. Charleston once again took four of the five points in the flat to sweep the weekend.
