CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston sailing won the Mendelblatt Open Team Race, finishing first out of 11 teams.
The Cougars also appeared in a pair of races in New Orleans, placing third in both the Nelson Roltsch Open Team Race and the Green Wave Women's Team Race.
Charleston returns to action to host the Bob Bavier Open Team Race and Phebe Corckran King Women's Team Race March 7-8 and travels to the St. Mary's Open Team Race March 7-8. The offshore squad competes in the LA Harbor Cup March 5-8 in Vallejo, Calif.
