Men's Basketball Falls in CAA Quarterfinals

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The College of Charleston men's basketball team fell to Towson 81-56 in the 2026 Air Force Reserve CAA Men's Basketball Championship to conclude the 2025-26 campaign. Charleston ends the 2025-26 season 21-11 overall.

- Towson opened the contest going 4-5 from the field to take an early 16-9 lead. Charleston cut the lead to five on several occasions but could not cut the deficit to one possession in the first half.
- Chris Davis Jr. sank his first points of the game on a triple at the buzzer to send Charleston into the locker room down 42-32. Jlynn Counter led the Cougars, who made five of their last seven from the field in the half, with nine points in the frame.
- The Tigers maintained control of the remainder of the contest to secure the win.
- Counter led Charleston with 11 points followed by Chol Machot and Colby Duggan with ten each.
- Christian Reeves grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
- Duggan had a team-high five assists followed by Counter with four.
- The Tigers shot 50% from the field compared to 39% from the Cougars.
- Towson outrebounded Charleston 44-27.
