Women's Golf Completes Second Round at NCAA Louisville Regional

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. - Carys Fennessy and Molly Hardwick posted matching 3-under, 69 rounds to lead the College of Charleston women's golf team through the second round of the NCAA Louisville Regional at the University of Louisville Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Cougars enter the final round in ninth place (+1), taking one stroke off yesterday's team round. The top four teams and top two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the national championship.
Both Fennessy and Hardwick recorded just one bogey on the day complete with four birdies each. Fennessy leads Charleston in the individual standings at T16 (-3) followed by Emilie von Finckenstein at T23 (-1). Fennessy also leads the field in total pars through two rounds (27) and enters Wednesday's final round six strokes behind the individual leader.
The Cougars will tee off the final round tomorrow, May 13, at 8:55 a.m. playing with Xavier and Kansas State.
