CHARLESTON, S.C. – Miles Eubanks, Loran Appel, and Nevill Ruiter earned All-CAA Men's Golf Postseason Awards as announced by the conference office Wednesday.
Eubanks and Appel earned spots on the All-CAA First Team while Ruiter was named to the All-CAA Second Team.
Eubanks earned the regular season as the top ranked player in the CAA in the NCAA Clipp'd rankings at #117 nationally with 70.5 stroke average. He won his first collegiate individual title at the Wexford Collegiate in February, also earning CAA Golfer of the Week honors for his performance. This is Eubank's first postseason honor.
Appel joins Eubanks on the first team after registering a pair of top-five marks, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Hootie Intercollegiate to go with a fourth-place standing in the CAA Men's Golf Championship. He was named the CAA Golfer of the Week after his Hootie finish. This is Appel's second postseason honor after earning second team accolades in 2024.
Ruiter earned a spot on the All-CAA Second Team for back-to-back postseason honors after earning first team honors a year ago. The overall fifth ranked CAA golfer in the NCAA Clipp'd standings with a 71.3 stroke average, he won the Giles-Sprately Collegiate individual title to conclude the regular season.
The Cougars will continue the 2025-26 season at the NCAA Athens Regional May 18-20 at the University of Georgia Golf Club. Charleston will travel to Athens as the 9-seed. They are joined in the field by Auburn, Illinois, Vanderbilt, BYU, Georgia, Louisville, Kansas, Northwestern, Rice, Southern Miss, Harvard, and Howard.
Head coach Mitch Krywulycz's program is making its third straight regional appearance and second straight at-large appearance in the NCAA Regionals. It is the 11th regional appearance in program history.
