Hardwick Set for U.S. Women's Amateur in Home State

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's golfer and reigning CAA Women's Golfer of the Year Molly Hardwick will compete in her second U.S. Women's Amateur August 4-9 at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
The Nashville native qualified for the championship with a 4-under victory at the Tennessee Women's Amateur on July 9 at Brentwood Country Club. She was one of just two players to finish the tournament under par, the other being incoming Cougar Tori Robinson.
"I couldn't be more excited and honored to have won my state amateur championship," said Hardwick. "It was such a special moment, and I'm so grateful to have earned a spot to compete in the U.S. Women's Amateur."
Hardwick last competed in the U.S. Women's Amateur in 2024 at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
This past season, she picked up her first CAA Golfer of the Year honor after being the league's top-ranked golfer (No. 101), according to Clipp'd. She earned medalist honors at the Edisto Island Invitational in October, earning one of her four Women's Golfer of the Week honors. The senior from Nashville, Tenn., also racked up five top-10 finishes this season, including a sixth-place mark at the 2026 CAA Women's Golf Championship.
