Cougars Finish Play at Mason Rudolph Invitational

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Molly Hardwick led the College of Charleston women's golf team with a T11 (+1) finish as the Cougars wrapped up play at the Mason Rudolph Invitational on Sunday.
Charleston took 11th at the Vanderbilt Legends Club with a 54-hole score of 890 (+38), carding rounds of 292, 296 and 302.
Hardwick opened the tournament with an even par 71 before firing a 1-under, 70 in the second round for the top Cougar card of the weekend. The senior recorded six birdies in the second round, including a stretch of four birdies on the back nine, to enter Sunday's final round in the top ten. Hardwick totaled 11 birdies in her return to her hometown.
Emilie von Finckenstein was the next top Cougar at T39 (+8) , recording six birdies throughout the tournament.
The Cougars will return to action when the program hosts the Tot Hill Farm Invitational on September 28-29, in Asheboro, N.C.
