2010-2011:Boersma earned runner-up finishes in the Southern Conference Indoor Championships (pentathlon) and Southern Conference Outdoor Championships (heptathlon). In both instances Boersma set school records with 3,411 points and 4,543 points. In the last race of her collegiate career the 800-meter run of the heptathlon she lost her shoe mid-way through the race, but recovered and finished the race within three seconds of her career best.
2008-09 Indoor: Limited to one meet due to season-ending surgery...Part of the 4x400 meter relay that finished 10th at the CNU Holiday Open (12/6) with a time of 4:13.70...Named to the SoCon Winter Academic All-Conference Team.
2007-08 Indoor: Set a school record in the 60-meter hurdles at the Clemson Opener (11/30) with a time of 9.85 seconds...Broke her own record with a time of 9.76 seconds in the hurdles at the SoCon Indoor Championships (3/1)...Finished the pentathlon with 3,020 points, second-most in school history, to place sixth in conference championships.
Ravenwood High School: Four-year letterwinner on track and field team...Named track captain in 2007...Outside of track and field was VP of Future Business Leaders of America and a member of Young Life.
Personal: Isabel is the daughter of Todd Boersma and Donna Pellillo...Her father played football at Duke...Isabel's career aspirations are to become a medical doctor.
